That's right. It's hardtail because I wanted this gap to be as small as possible. If it doesn't work out I have in plans using shocks from Suzuki savage. They are hard and short. We'll see. This week I should get it back on wheels.
I have -20 Celsius here so no chance to test brakes now. Hopefully bike will be finished by the end of the month and by that time it'll get warmer so I can give it a try.
I agree with the headlight being a bit small. BUT as I have learned firsthand, sometimes the bike needs to be back together and "finished" before this is truth, might just look odd in pics but great in person too.
Headlight migh look too small but when cables and tachometer show up front end will look a little bit more massive. I tried that before and looked cool to me but I'll check it again once everything is in place.
i think a smaller headlight suites the bike better than a larger one. makes the front wheel/tire look massive and more aggressive. where did you pick that headlight from? or the size (4")?
