The electronic ignition is by Daytona. It was really easy to fit and set up. I'll let you know if it works tomorrow.

Not sure whether to keep the Honda emblem. What do you think?

Doc, great build and the attention to detail is outstanding and giving me a ton of inspiration for my K7 build. Now I do have a question, where are the billet adjustable pre-load top nuts from? I've been trying to source a set myself.

PS. I had the same dilemma about the Honda emblem on the lower yoke and my vote is to ditch it. In my opinion it looks out of place

Hey snowman. How's it hanging? The billet top nuts are from my own private stock so if you would like some just PM me and we can get that sorted. Thanks for your view on the emblem - it's been bugging me for a while - trouble is what to put there in it's place? I might have to make some sort of plate I guess, or fit nicer bolts or.......I'll play around with that and post the options.

Hi all. Does anyone have a cool idea for the side panels on a K7 as they look stooooopid without the stock air cleaner in place?

Hi drpoyser and welcome. I have access to most of the things you may need for your build so just PM me and I'll be happy to help. I also have some K7 items that you may be interested. Always happy to help.

Nice pipes...but not sure about the cam cover. The chaps who blasted it went a little deep in the aluminium so I couldn't polish it. I suspect they used the wrong media. Think I'll do another one and see how they compare. I'd really like to hear your views though. Thanks.

That's great news, Thanks Doctor Jones.
I actually quite like the matt black cover and am looking for a place that will do something similar.

My build is up here if you'd like a browse - http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=53607.msg636318#msg636318
I'm just about to get my fork Stantions re-chromed so any advice on where to send would be most welcome.

I'll PM you shortly with my current shopping list!

Hi drpoyser. These are the Koni Dial-a-Ride shocks I mentioned.

DJ, thanks and I'll send you a PM shortly. I hear you about what to put in its place, I was thinking about a piece of aluminum flat stock just a bit wider than the yoke that would follow the contour fastened with a couple of nice allen bolts, giving a beefier look to the bottom.

Hi Dr,
Love what you're doing with this built. I am about to get started on my project.. 1978 Honda cb750. If it turn out half as good as your, I will be a very happy man. keep those pics coming.
Thank,
Sinjin

Hi drpoyser: the shocks are the pair that were on the bike when I bought it. They are in excellent condition but for various reasons I'll be using a different suspension manufacturer on this build so they are are available to you at a very reasonable rate. Give me a call to discuss if you're interested?

Hi snowman: so, I'm going to try that with the aluminium and see how it comes up but perhaps I don't need to hide that 3-way brake union that sits behind the emblem after all?
