Here we go. Pictures first:
My synopsis; Upon further review, I dont think that this is an actual copy of an Acewell. The numbers on the tach portion are different from the ones listed on Acewells website (http://www.acewell-meter.com/) and the Fuel "Full" indication is not the same. Also, The indicator lights are not in the same place and they are notated differently (i.e. there is no "N" but there is an "R"). It does seem like it is built well and should last a while. Please let it be known that I am not able to test this gauge out as I dont have a complete bike to try it on. When I get to that point... I will update again.

Swagger said:Not sure it is. Remember that Acewell offers several different versions in the same chassis, which would account for different connectors and indicator layout. The bezel and faceplate both extremely similar, enough that I'd need a direct comparison and a look at the PCBs to determine. Jury is still out until solid internal proof can be had. Regardless....if it works it's a good deal..
hillsy said:There are so many differences in the two units that I can see just from looking at the pics - face plate font, tach spacing, LED's, mode buttons, removeable shroud, fuel gauge are all different. then at the back the Acewell cable runs inside the housing, as opposed to the cheap one where the individual wires are set in a rubber block.
Too many differences to just be a re-badged unit from the same factory.
Hope it works well, though
