Tiny bit more done today, I managed to get the calipers, bracket an leaver finished in the satin black, finishing touch will be the brembo lettering in the lime green 8)

Cheers Gary, MJ ;)

Yea it was a bit of a gamble on the color ie I don't want to balls up a nice brembo with the wrong color, but yea I love it, I think color wise less is more on this build

So bit more of the electrics done, new fuse box in and all under seat is now finished ;D
In glad, I hate wires lol

Cheers Wayne :)

MJ,
They suck balls man lol

Yea the fusebox is just an eBay buy, lol it's actually quit neat, I'm a bit obsessed by neatness so yea the wires were a pain to work out but I did enjoy the last part of laying it out and re looming it up :)

I still have the front light to sort out and hide the wires up front but yea nearly there 8)

Hope your feeling the love on yours now buddy, looking tidy dude 8)

Cheers
Wayne :)

Hello fellow makers :)

Finally I decided to make the mold for my seat unit, for safety sake I'm going for a 2 part mold as there is a tiny return that could cause the mold Or parts not to release

I love this sort of stuff , especially when u get that nice crack an release in one mega go :D

Must be the weather but I'm feeling the love for it !

Cheers Wayne ;)

nice dude looks really good. love seeing progress updates on your bike. i got my tail back for my xv750, just starting to do the bodywork to fill in the little imperfections.. im so bad at it.. any tips?

Mr MJ , how u doing buddy :)

Huuum well all you can do is take your time, for little imprefections I would use a stopper filler, you don't get the pin holes in it as much, you can also get it near right and then put like 3 good high build 2k primer on it,then flat that back with 80 grit paper and then finish with 180, then re prime again with the 2k but not as heavy,
Then flat with say 400 dry or 800 wet, then paint :)

It is defo all in the prep mate,

My car in the first page pics took me ages to do , but it is totally flawless , like all my jobs ;) lol

haha right right that car is awesome! yeah i have some glaze filler, (finishing filler?) been putting that on and bringing it back down with 180 grit, then re priming.. sucks! i just feel like im either putting too much on, or taking too much off, and its messy.. FAAAACK..

Lol I've seen guys with paper an stuff an they can't do bodywork for shit!!!!
It's not easy mate, I got 20 years on me dude !!

It's best to actualy skim the whole lot in one go so u don't keep taking tho previous load out while your flat ting the new

I've got no pics to show u mate, sorry

Well the sun was shining in the UK so I thought I'd get a shot out side,
Note the rear seat is the first one from the mold 8)

Cheers Wayne ;)
