Father Son 75 CB200T Rise From the Ruins

Thanks Y'all! We are mocking up rear sets. Hopefully this will be an heirloom. I think we will make the rear sets adjustable for different riding positions and growth. Teazer says we will need to go for aerodynamics to do the ton so we think we will keep our options open. I am 6'5" my oldest is 6"6 and I think my little one is gonna be at least that tall. I have seen different spacers for the super bike rear sets. Here are a couple of options we are considering. An aluminum plate with multiple positions and then a fixed frame weld. Our Perreault clip ons are going to give us the most flexibility up front both foreword and up and down. We plan on adding a fairing and removing the headlight for a Bonneville attempt. Hey we can dream right?

We found the missing piece to compliment the Glass from the Past vintage seat. It is the Valkyrie Rune aftermarket headlight. Gonna modify to add a speedo. Retro will give her lean lines and will work with the Perreault offset racing bars.

that headlight will look killer on the 200 I'm doing one myself and am keen to follow this one

we are very excited about incorporating this aftermarket Rune headlight. We think the Honda Rune is a piece of art. We also wanted a single fixed mounting point for easy removal for the track...she looks like she is winking as she passes with the glass from the past tail I can almost hear her say, "look at me now one day your are in the junkyard of life and the next you are on the track"

Headlight is in! Let us know what you think!

the blue orange is too gulf coast colors for me...I had to fight to add a purple pin stripe. I am gonna appeal to his Dutch heritage... The sea needs to be on the bottom and the sun on the top IMO.

agreeed!!! Love the spirit of this build and the application. Keep it coming. You are an inspiration.

Thanks guys but great art begets inspiration and three things happened to "luck out" with her new headlight. First 66replica's Spartan bike's headlight (below) was daring, inspiring, and an instant classic and so is the Honda Rune. One morning we heard her whisper Rune. So we looked up the Rune headlight but it was toooo expensive and it was way to big. It would be like fake boobs... they say "hello" but just don't flow. She is a lady even though she is sporting 70's eye shadow colors. We know she is a lady because she has been playing hard to get, we still don't know her name, so we decided to keep looking for something more classy and then we stumbled on this aftermarket Rune headlight. She definitely has a "wink" to her now! Her tail (Glass From the Past) comes in the mail today! We are tracking UPS like Santa, a snow storm in the panhandle may slow thing down a bit. My wife actually contributed to the project by wanting me to have a new rear for my birthday present. LOL Oh, the headlight will be removable so that we can put a faring on her. We watched the World's Fastest Indian last night and ole Burt is an inspiration. She may just be the salt of the earth...if she can pass tech inspection...

We received our GFTP(3 weeks from order to our door!) seat today and my son removed it from the box and hugged it. We dawned our protective gear and ground everything that was in the way. The seat pan need to be shortened so the slope of the seat flowed with the geometry of the frame. Now we are ready to start the frame modifications.
