Father Son 75 CB200T Rise From the Ruins

We hooked up the rear brake linkage by using the existing brake linkage. We put a sligh angle on the linkage and cut it, threaded, and used a stopnutand a second nut. What do you think?

We fabricated a headlight bracket attached to the lower triple tree. We think the headlight needs to be dropped a couple of inches. Agree or disagree?

It's a cool shape but looks too big for the bike, Can you lower it and tuck it in a bit? Might fix it.

I think the second picture has better placement. I also think that because of the lamp being chrome it stands out more and makes it look a little larger than it is. What if it was the blue of the bike?

1 1/2" drop

Like Maritime said, light looks a bit to big for the bike. Is there no way to get it between the forks? Looks of imho. Dont you think its risky to let an unexperienced welder do such constuctural welds (like the footpegs)

safety first is a more important lesson than a lesson in welding.. ;)

footpeg stance looks cool though! Remember to weld the cut off tubes from the rearsets. Mud and water from the rear wheel will nest in the tubes and rust from inside out.

En hoe zit dat nou eigenlijk met een Texaan die nederlands kan? Ben je ge-emigreerd ofzo?
Vet hoor, met je zoon doen. Als ik kinderen mag krijgen ga ik zeker iets vergelijksbaars doen!

Awesome build and even better that your boy is involved. I like the shape of the headlight from the front but I believe it may be too deep (from the side) for my tastes. But that's just my opinion.

Yea Bert we agree with y'all and we are gonna mockup a recess bracket into the forks. As far as welding goes we are in the mock up stage and all welds will be scrutinized by my neighbor Steve at the shop. They like to weld helicopter parts. Thanks for being so cautious! All openings will be sealed. Thanks for all the feed back! Love your work btw! My grandfather immigrated to the states...his name was Bert :) We consider Texas the New New Zealand. je zult een geweldige vader zijn We surely don't want her to be a ho lol but grote koplampen in de familie...my wife she is a Texan lol
