im actually thinking of matching the muffler with the pipes. so black all the way

looks good! What size battery are you using? Stock Amp hours?

almost done. Just waiting on my uni pods to get here and few more minor things.....Future plans: relacing the wheels. few more copper odds and ends.
new muffler.

Great looking build...Love to see something different. That copper looks really good. How much was it to get the copper pieces dipped?

all of it with clear coat. was 300$ area. i did the entire seat. everything under the stiching is copper also

Exhaust sounds ok. Im going to upgrade it after the holidays for sure. As well as do the tires

ok after waiting weeks for my Pod filters. they finally came... and there the wrong ones.... so now im rethinking filters

any advice are velocity stacks worth it on a 1978 cb550k??

can anyone reccoemend me stacks or Pod filters? exact size and everthing... would be huge help

If you want to go with velocity stacks, checkout steel dragon. (http://www.steeldragonperformance.com/products_2.html) I've seen them in person. They are a quality product.

So i got my bike running today! EARLY xmas present to me! anyways i got the velocity stacks in they look amazing!
very proud of my bike. still have some work today but i got to take it out for my first ride:)

The copper bits look really great man. Just my opinion (that is what we share for, no?) but they definitely outshine other parts of the bike. Polishing or just semi-polishing things like the fork lowers, rear drum...etc, could tie it together some more. How bout a polished alloy tank? ;D

I'll have to politely disagree and give my opinion ::) . I think the dulled down portions give it character. The copper parts give it accents in places it needs it. If more stuff was polished the look would be too "look at me". Then again, it's not my bike so take that with a grain of salt.

Anyway, the bike looks killer! Good job man!
