I'll have to politely disagree and give my opinion : . I think the dulled down portions give it character. The copper parts give it accents in places it needs it. If more stuff was polished the look would be too "look at me". Then again, it's not my bike so take that with a grain of salt.

Anyway, the bike looks killer! Good job man!

I say let the copper get all dulled and just let it have the rustic mechanical look.

Thanks for the idea's guys. exactly why i love this forum so many idea's thrown out
As for future plans with the bike its really not done. i Def have more work todo. such as the wheels. thats next on my list.
new wheels, few more copper accents, exhaust. . i think i want to put a small strip of copper on the bottom of the tank ill mock up a photoshop of it later.

Exactly what i was trying todo. i wanted to give it a weathered, in distress look. while still looking clean and slick. honestly pics do not do the bike
any justice in person looks great. ill try to get a video of it eventually

Finally done ill get some real pics tomorrow. but love the finished product! i couldnt be happier with it
finishing touches include. Wheel Re-lace, drill out the rotars, Front fork sliders powder coat blac, fork seals, Rear shocks (black on black, some more copper!, drilled out jets to make it run cherry! night and day diffrence

Congrats! The bike looks awesome and really unique. I personally think it would look better of the copper on the tank and cowl matched...one looks vintage and the other looks brand new, kind of contrasts too much. Either way, it is great.

I have much respect for you getting through your first build.

First, great build, I have the same bike and I love what you did to it. Great ideas and workmanship.
Second, your helmet is a 3/4? Does the facemask just attach to the bottom snaps? Kind of cool and I didn't know they made such a thing. Where did you get it?

Hey sorry didnt get back to you earlier. my helmet is dot approved and i had to make my own snaps on the helmet actually. The facemask is a vintage facemask Very hard to find took me forever to fine one actually. not cheap either..
