Just trying to brighten things up here. It was starting to look like Lucas built the lights. (Anyone? Anyone?) Ok back to my own business.

Sorry if I was heavy handed. I see now a little levity goes a long way. Thanks for trying to brighten the mood, but mine was never dimmed! Its good to get practice at taking the high road. Im quite enjoying this.

now this is gonna sound SOOOOO lame, but part of the problem with this world is, ppl like to see arguments or put-downs. Indulging such is not healthy, nor is participating in it. This is why I try to take the high road. Nothing about bickering is healthy for either party. And no one should be so empty that their "forum rep" adds value to them.

If you don't need or want a "forum rep" as you call it, why do you keep coming back and continuing your line of bullshit? All you're doing is indulging in it and participating in it, in reality you're initiating everything. You ask questions and comment in other threads but it all leads to this and you getting caught in your lies, which is EXACTLY what you want...how many times do you need to be kicked off of here? How many different accounts do you need to create so you can come back? If your life is SO great like you keep telling us and you don't have time for all of this arguing, bickering and breaking people down why do you continue to come back? Because you're everything you're blaming others to be and worse, a fucking tool narcissist that has nothing else in his life. It's really sad

Had I not come back I would not made the 3 friends in this forum that I will go riding with here in NYC.

I tend to think using curse words and " internet diagnosing" ppls mental state is indicative of insecurity. Narcissists generally dont thank ppl for their help and offer things free of charge like ive done so no, youre wrong and unqualified to make such determinations and I reject your simpleton assumptions. The information I have found in this forum is invaluable, and you overstate your imagined importance in my life, by daring to think that I have the slightest concern with what you think of me. I dont. Simply put, the risk of meeting ppl like you is outweighed by the benefits of having met great ppl here who are teaching me things about riding.

Chew on that. It may take a while to digest, assimilate, and be of use to you.

Tells a lie, says he is praying for you. Is "taking the high road."

You have a warped sense of reality.

lol funny! the best "i dont give a fuck" message is to say nothing at all. My big bro taught me that. To say or show "i dont give a fuck" in any way, really shows a person cares about letting people know they dont give a fuck, which means they really do give a fuck. Silence is the most effective "fuck you" of all. It shows total disinterest and detachment. When I dont give a fuck, i just shut the fuck up. Its a very powerful thing to do.

Hmm. You think using curse words shows insecurity. Previously posted posts full of curse words.

That's not an assertion. That is direct quotes. I think assertion means not what you think it does.

When someone continues to assert what has been made clear, well....you do the math.

Your only goal is to provoke me, which is why i will never refute anything you say, or establish why I can now say I am in the clear. I will not be provoked. I dont respect you enough to let you provoke me.

With that said, I am back to talking about bikes. Continue to bring up the personal and things unrelated to biking, if you like, in an attempt to provoke me. But I warn you, you cant. I dont think enough of you to be upset by you. Its just not possible.

*pats you on the head and gives you a toy fire engine to play with*

Re: 1972 Honda CB 350F Build. Update

Damn, this turned into a monkey fucking a coconut real fast...

Re: 1972 Honda CB 350F Build. Update

Feel better? I couldn't care less about provoking you. You're no different than 99% of the hipster squid's running around on their "café racers." However, I'll gladly point out your hypocrisy, and flat out bullshit lies.

On the bike. You have severely devalued it. You have taken a cherry 350F, slapped a tank on it with the intention of letting it rust for a "look." You're going to have clearance issues in the rear. Though, that has been pointed out many times by people far more experienced than you. Your idea to not paint the hoop...That's dumb.

I imagine this guy you are paying to "build" this bike is laughing straight to the bank.

Re: 1972 Honda CB 350F Build. Update

narcissism

[nahr-suh-siz-em]

noun
1. inordinate fascination with oneself; excessive self-love; vanity.

2. Psychoanalysis. erotic gratification derived from admiration of one's own physical or mental attributes, being a normal condition at the infantile level of personality development.

Or maybe this is more accurate

masochist

[mas-uh-kist]

1.Psychiatry. a person who has masochism, the condition in which sexual or other gratification depends on one's suffering physical pain or humiliation.

2. a person who is gratified by pain, degradation, etc., that is self-imposed or imposed by others.

3. a person who finds pleasure in self-denial, submissiveness, etc.

How about the value of enjoying something over the value of what its like after youve hacked it up?? You keep going on about what appears to be monetary value. Money is not my concern. I mean that to say, that Ive hacked this bike up is not a big deal to me. PLENTY of ppl do it, and now I am among them.

Didnt you pick your wife or GF based first on her "look?"
Dont even try to judge me about wanting something for "looks." Its what I want and thats enough.
Plenty of boys out west hack up 1960's cars, and throw 10 batteries and hydraulics in the trunk.
I have a 1962 409 chevy. I didnt do that, but I dont judge that they hacked up their cars. I bought the bike, I paid for it, its mine to do with as I please. And just as vociferously as you dont like what Ive done, someone equally loves it, and not just me.

the guy building the bike? I HOPE hes laughing to the bank because hes a GOOD DUDE and Im happy to give him the work. He doesnt even know it yet, but on top of what Im paying him to do the work, hes getting a MASSIVE tip.

Which clearly shows the distinction between your world and mine. I live a happy life and am generally trusting of all the close ppl around me. There isnt much deception or second thought about motives.
Clearly you live in a more hostile environment, and it shows. Happy ppl do happy things.
Thats why Im quick to forgive. Thats why I was able to send you that PM thanking you for your advice, though weve clashed in the past.
I didnt expect a response, and I didnt get one. Because you LOVE the hostile state youre in, as much as you loathe it. Sad.
I regularly give away things. I gave a woman a free fur coat a few months back, and if you like I can link you to her instagram where she thanks me for it. And this was a MINK coat!
Just as you do in this forum in other ways with other ppl, youve sought to taint my correspondence with this guy, whom I plan to give a tank to, for FREE.

Youre a really really really really sad person, so sad, Im not even angry with you. Just sad FOR you. Bitter as bile.
