KDX 200 Project thing

I went ahead and just bought the stock ones, I've learned over time sometimes you save money and trouble just biting the bullet.

Horrible lighting in the storage unit and it's raining outside so I guess we'll call this a "teaser" shot?

Nice job... Ford driving light?
I'm unsure!
It came on the bike, but I wanted to shake it up and give it a sort of tracker/sumo style up front, debating whenever I paint it keeping the numbers or not.

I would cut a rectangle across the top and put ss mesh behind for a vented look then mask and paint the numbers on

I think I'm kind of picking up what your putting down.. Do you have any picture examples of something similar? That sounds like it would be pretty cool.

Currently dealing with title issues on the Kdx. Apparently since I last transfered an Arkansas title they implemented that you have to get a bill of sale as well as have the vin checked by a mechanic or something.
So I am mailing the title with a bill of sale back to the guy I got this from, luckily he's sort of a friend and doesn't mind helping.
Other than that, not a lot left to do minus add fork oil, and other fluids.

In other news, I'm picking up this cb750 tomorrow for a grand.
Clean title, runs well. Has lots of aftermarket parts, race built engine, etc.
I'll have to add lights to make it street legal, but I may keep this one to ride for awhile, I've always wanted a cb750. And really at this price I could justify making it my daily.

It also has a Henery Abe seven star front wheel which is somewhat sought after which is kind of cool if your into that kind of stuff.
I think I'm getting an okay deal, comes with a spare frame and head.

Well I screwed myself.
I was in a hurry because I fly out of LA today, and didn't look at the title like I should of.
It's a Nebraska title, and was signed off to someone else (not the guy?) but also came with a reassignment form all filled out that was reassigning the title that was never sent in from the person whom the original title was signed too, to the guy who gave me the bike.. Thoughts?
I don't have the slightest clue how to go about taking on this situation or what to do...

Basically I have the title that is signed by both the original owner, and someone called JF motorcycle parts.

The title was never sent in.

JF motorcycle parts then filled out the reassignment form to Craig, the guy I got it from.

How am I going to go about getting this title in my name even?

your only option at this point is for Craig to title it in his name with that paperwork, and then he will have to transfer the title he gets to you. It's going to cost him money so in order to get him to do it you're probably going to have to offer to pay for all the costs and maybe even offer to throw him some cash for the cause.

Yeah well I already texted him and recieved no reply, as expected.

It's actually really easy to apply for a new title in Arkansas for old motorcycles, and I have a friend whom lives there who I talked too.
He said he's willing to fill out the forms for me, get the title and then transfer it to me, so we may be taking that route.

only thing easier is a bill of sale ran through Vermont. You'd get a transferable registration and a plate with 1yr tag and no inspection requirement. When it expires either take transferrable reg to local DMV and transfer it into your home state, or renew VT by mail and enjoy.
