KZ550- Iron Geek K Zeta

Good build so far, As far as stacks & pods at I would stick with pods just due to how dirty the carbs can get with stacks and will probably suffer down the road.

Thanks guys,

I tuned some crappy pods on my last bike... Honda Cb350f and it wasn't too bad. Thank you all for your responses. Anybody have experience with the UNI foam pods. How did they perform vs. the K&N's?

Thanks,
Peter

Ran those as well, work better than the emgo air filters, cannot comment on the K&N though. Hope someone else can. Make sure you oil them if you run them.

I am currently running k&n pods on my 650 and definately took a little bit to get them dialed in still a wee bit rich at idle but good otherwise

To be perfectly honest, i've used many an off brand foam filter over the past 40+ years and for the money, you can't and wont go wrong with the K & N's. They will with stand many washing's and still perform. They wont curl up on you and thr filler wont break down. I'm currently running K&N on 5 bikes and one of them has had the same set for the past 10 years. I wash them 2-3 times a season. So long as you re-oil them with K&N oil, they'll last for a very long time.

Update!
I got a new Tank.... but I'm not sure what it's off of. It fits on the backbone pretty well and looks really dope

Also, got into the forks and lowered them an inch and a half as well as replacing the oil in them, which was extremely needed because this bike had gigantic front forks

Alright guys,

Need some help here. I'm pretty sure the tank I picked up was off a gs1100. Does anybody recognize it?

Also and update,

The frame is about to get painted and the tank stripped and cleaned. After that, it will be the home stretch. Gonna start putting it all back together, and hopefully awaken the beast

I'm pretty sure it's from a GS450... It comes up on CMNSL as the tank that fits SUZUKI GS450 ET,ST,EX,SX,EZ 1980-1982 (USA) and here's a thread of someone else who was using it on a cb350 here on dtt
