Meltdown 2013: Camp. Drink. Eat.

Wish I could! Not sure the 450 could handle CO to NC anyway, haha. Unless I bore it out or replace the engine...

I'm planning to be there with my Bonnie and have a friend coming up from Travelers Rest on his Thruxton. My wife may also ride her Vstar. We're in SE Asheville so it's a short ride.

Nah, it's only about a 30 min or so ride from mine (about a mile from the Biltmore). I might be tempted to join the group ride though.

If you mean our address for camping and general dtt mayhem for the weekend, it is

5734 South N.C. #9 Hwy
Tryon NC 28782

I've got an awesome sat morning ride planned to get from our house to the meltdown too if anyone wants to partake.

Pm me if anyone needs my phone number for details or directions!!

I'm bringing a bike that needs fixin'.

;)

END OF LINE

Just as long as you arrive in one piece this time. :)

I will also be bringing a sleeping bag, a toothbrush, some tools and a mason jar that has been lurking in my fridge for awhile.

The bike needs the carbs tuned and the timing set. Nothing big.

Judging from the pics E sent me of his toys, someone should also bring a splint and some crutches for the folks that are going to break themselves.

END OF LINE

I am fairly positive I will be headed to the meltdown this weekend. Might try to ride from your place E but my house is over in Bat Cave so we might just ride from there. Maybe we will be around friday night and can come have a "few" drinks.

Flug, wish I had known. I could have shipped tools and stuff down to you / Mr E.

Hope it works out for you bud.

The more the merrier! And if you decide to ride out from our place, Hwy 9 from Bat Cave to our house is a nice ride. But I'm sure you know :)

They all more/less "run," so wear it out!

We have crutches on standby too...
