Re: my cafe/bobber/cafe. bofe racer? build. leaning more towards cafe.lol
I was thinkin, what do you guys think of longer shocks in the back to lift that back end a bit higher? or can this be achieved with a different tire size?
also what do you think of the square headlight? flow well? or should i go round?
Re: my cafe/bobber/cafe. bofe racer? build. leaning more towards cafe.lol
ahhh 12 - 12.5 are pretty much the standard shock.. you can look at dirtbike shocks they are bigger but hen you have to worry about drive train allignment issues i would imagine
Re: my cafe/bobber/cafe. bofe racer? build. leaning more towards cafe.lol
what do you think of this light. its nice and small, i could make a bracket to mount it, or holes in the sides.
i like both this and the cb headlight.
i actualy have an old suzuki light at home but the bucket is junk.
i saw some nice small black off road lights at harbor freight that i think might work, so i might try and rig one of those up, that way i dont have to paint.
Re: my cafe/bobber/cafe. bofe racer? build. leaning more towards cafe.lol
found this on craigslist, 70's cb350 headlight, high and low beam work.
although i think its 6v, and my bike is 12v, so id have to swap out the bulb.42$ shipped.
what dou you guys think?
Re: my cafe/bobber/cafe. bofe racer? build. leaning more towards cafe.lol
ya the guy doesnt wanna go lower on the price,
something not too big, i dont want a huge light either,
im thinking seeing as how im going to have to make it work elactrical wise, i might be better off getting the 6" light at harbor freight and just make mounting holes in it. plus its already painted black.
heres a pic of the harbor freight light, just gotta remove the bottom mount bracket and bam, lol, got myself a light.
Re: my cafe/bobber/cafe. bofe racer? build. leaning more towards cafe.lol
man, on a headlight, i would get a headlight, that harbor freight thing sucks! i have them on my buddies quad, they put out a flood style lite not what you want on the bike... i would imagine that someone on here has a CB light for you, post up in the wnated section

CB350s were 12V. If that's an early steel shell, then it's a good one but still pricey. You can usually find those at wreckers or swap meets for less than $20.
