Well I finally have some images of the gruesomeness you may want to brace yourselves.
Here are the mailboxes I killed..
And the retaining wall that sent me flying, the big white chunk missing is where I hit and flipped. The painted marks on the street by the pole is where I ended up, Still unsure if my pelvis and hip are broken from hitting that pole or not. The bike came to rest on the other side of that pole in the grass /dirt area under the cable.
And here is the damage to the bike...
Its amazing the seat pan didn't sever my leg when it buckled along with the cowl.
The $250 freshly lined tank is totally done...
The front end is toast, speedo is gone, headlight rim is just a hunk of metal, forks are bent, fender was torn off, cables and wiring ripped out, fork ears crushed, handle bars bent etc. I guess thats what happens when you flip 600 pounds into the ground. (Sorry about some of the pic quality, these were taken by my brother with his phone, I have yet to see it in person)
Here is a refresher on what she looked like before:
So there you have it guys. PLEASE WEAR YOUR GEAR AND DON'T GET DISTRACTED FOR A MINUTE, As lucky as I am, I would not wish this on my enemies. - MBS
