Even though I have not been here too long, I like the new colors. If possible, maybe an option in user profiles to disable the side bar on the left? I have them collapsed, but the buttons are still there for expanding. Just seems like a lot of lost space (about 1/5th) especially for those of us with out wide screens.

Looks great so far though :D

you CAN. below where it says "Hello -Name-"

there is a VERY tiny arrow... click it.

TA DAH!

look at the TOP RIGHT of the page...

I think I've gotten used to it already.Looks good. I can chose with 8) or without :) sunglasses now. Thanks for the tip on collapsing the left column. I do find that the log in box is coverd. I can only access the last half of the password box.
The larger avatar boxes are fine except......RedBird and VonYinzers distract me when I am trying to read. Time for sunglasses. 8)

You can collapse the column on the left by clicking on the tiny little square at the top right corner of the posts column (odd I know)

Ill look at other ways to have that info without taking up width on the screen
Man! That made a huge difference. Thanks Tim.

You running in 1024x768? Netbook?

I've worked to optimize the sight for 1280x800, which covers the majority of our users based on Google Analytics. I'll see if I can make it work better for 1024x768 as well.

I'm not really sure what resolution this computer is running but it is a square screen not one of the newer wide ones. I assume that is my problem.

It must be 1024x768, which was a standard resolution on 4:3 'square' screens. Is it a tube-monitor or LCD panel? Right-click on your desktop and go to the properties to see what resolution it's running at and if you can increase it (unless your eyes are bad and can't see smaller type).

just saw... the best idea EVER on explorer-forum...

a "panic button" that you place on the bottom of the site, that when clicked, sends you to another URL of your choice... great for when your slacking at work!

DO IT NOW TIM! ;)
