I looked at the Thorogood boots too. I agree, for the price they go for, they look pretty identical to the Redwings. (And they're made right here in my home state of Wisconsin!) The things I don't like is that they have a cotton lining- I don't care for any lining in my boots. I also don't like speed laces. Call me picky, or just downright fucking strange, but that's just how I am. I can also honestly say that these Red Wings are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn, right off the bat. I can't even imagine how awesome they're going to be down the road!

Well then there you go, man. To each their own, for sure. I tried on Red Wings and thought that if I didn't wear them for a period of time, I would have to break them in ALL over again. Not my cup of tea (even though I have worn my Thorogoods 100x more than I thought I would.

I think I got a very fair price on these. I was gonna use my older GSXR stuff but it won't work with the spacers I'm having made. Inverted GSXR front end, giant dual discs, 6 pot calipers and old school spokes ;)

(not mine, but when my spacer is done it will be just like this)

Just received these in the mail. Throttle (push and pull) cables, not to sexy or interesting but very necessary. Now that my winter of discontent is nearly over, I will soon have a fist full of throttle!!

Shitty winter, way too much drama. New place with garage, this summer is gonna be good!

damn pic wont post, so close your eyes and imagine two sleek cables and there you have it.

Having spent a lifetime traveling and working abroad, I'm pretty sure the "Made in USA" tag ain't worth the bit it's printed on.

Perhaps today it doesn't hold as much water as it used to but from my experience, old stuff made in USA is better than anything made in China today.

Why's it all gotta be about either USA or China? I'm actually all over Asia every few months myself. Stuff is made worldwide, and I think we can all agree the work ethic has gone downhill in the USA over the past couple decades - which is sad. Anyways, Japan makes some pretty dope stuff, from what I hear... ;) Now let's get back to seeing some of everyone's new toys!

Made in Albania!

HA! Seeing as the whole discussion started with work boots, I wear Cofra's and they are made in Albania!
All Composite, super lite and the leather feels broke in the first time you wear them
