Post a pic of your latest purchase

I am waiting on the mounts to add one to the other.
I have also just picked up a 1978 KZ200 bone stock that I may put on the sidecar and keep the cafe to ride and do something fun with them all....
But here you go:

Just picked up this 86 gpz900r. All it needs is some rubber and some tlc to the #2 overflow. Stoked!

Wow Taggat, nice get, who the hell would put D404 dunlops on that bike, it ain't a friggin slow ass cruiser, those things new are hard as rocks and don't stick worth a shit in corners. So I see why you say you need new rubber LOL.

I have had several sets of 404's and they grip well enough and are pretty soft. Of course, I may not be as fast as you.......

IDK, there may be 2 versions of them I had them on my GL when I got it and they were OK if you cruised around but get a little more leaning and they were a bit scary, I switched to the SHinko 230's and holy moly night and day, I was scraping pegs without pooping my pants. I also found the D404 to be not great in rain and the shinkos were excellent in torrential downpours going through PA and CT at 75 MPH on the freeway in lake size puddles. Only good thing about the D404 I can say is they lasted 2x longer then the shinkos.

I will have to agree that the Shinkos are better tires, but mine seem to be wearing pretty fast on my Electraglide. I have three other sets of Shinkos waiting to be installed on some other bikes. For the price they are really hard to beat and stick like glue.

Yep but for the glue stickyness you change em more often. Which since I do my own changes I am ok with for the better handling.

I am with you...... better grip rather than higher mileage. I may have to go with another tire on the glide though...... I change my own tires also and that damn HD is a bitch to get the back one off and on.

LOL I know the big Cruisers are a lot harder to do so a higher mileage one would make sense for sure. I did my buddys VTX and that one was a lot more work then the GL's comparatively skinny tires.

Picked this up today for a great price. Cold Starts first push of the button or first kick, everything's in nice shape. Exhaust isn't original and the side covers weren't repainted after a few cracks were fixed in them, but other than that, it's a great bike for under $1500!
