what do you mean both sides? Like two leading edge and two trailing edge? google is failing me
there is a hole on either side with a plate and a set of 2 shoes on each plate and 2 cables going into one. If you look at one side then walk around to the other there is a mirrored setup. Lots of stopping power when properly setup and maintained.

This isn't one from a GT750, but yeah... like this:

That front drum is a highly sought after racing part. Worth upwards of $500. It's a dual drum and has pads on both sides.

Interesting - just for my edification how is this sort after for racing - I would think that dual-disk calipers would be less weight and more effective? I mean isn't that what is used?

I may have the dumb today cos I did have my shirt on inside out for most of it so forgive me..

Sold the KZ and then bought it back
Also Picked up an XS650 frame and a few boxes of extras with it

Picked up my first welder to learn on and can't wait to try my hand at it. My girlfriends dad is a journey machinist (and electrician) and talked me into getting a cheaper unit to learn on and to save cash for a Hobart or Lincoln down the road. Excited to be taught the ropes and to expand my capabilities!

It's tough walking out of Harbor Freight without spending less than $200, isn't it?

Good haul Drey. I bought their 220v mig welder a little while ago and don't regret it. If yours is anything like mine though, keep a close eye on the wire feed speed - mine isn't very consistent.

The best thing about the little cheapy flux core welders is that if you learn to lay down a nice bead with it, you're golden when you upgrade to a nicer machine, especially with gas.

tried to plan this trip and I was around $160 before heading that way and ended up at $189 so overall I'm proud of myself for not going batshit crazy!

That's the one complaint I see a lot is the inconstant feed.

I'm pretty stoked to learn the ropes and see where I'm at 3 years from now after I hone what I've learned. I'll also have a "big boy" job to get myself better equipment. One more year of college, an internship and then I'm free to be on my own.

Then actually being broke will begin hahahah
