I'm with you, fucking stupid idea on a helmet strap
I had the sliding bar type fitting, on MX helmet, it managed to rupture airway without breaking skin and that was only about 6mm dia by 3~4mm long
I wouldn't want a plastic 'saw' anywhere near my throat.

Don't want to burst your bubble BUT those clip ons are seriously weak, they snap like a twig.......dont ask me how I know. You may want to get something of a better quality.
That top triple is looking good though!
