Re: Project Gretta....something's in the water....
I gotta admit I was afraid she wasn't gonna look like Gretta anymore, but you pulled it off. Can't wait for the final reveal to see her in her earth tone attire. Speaking of which is the cooler getting any treatment?
Re: Project Gretta....something's in the water....
Sir Kiles, you have done it again... I am can't believe my eyes, it is very cool... Now I gotta come to barber, to see Gretta if nothing else! Great work bud!
I'm loving the newest incarnation!
Reminds me of my hand-stitched brown leather seat:
Kiley I know you probably haven't even seen my newest seat; but how awesome would it be if somehow I had a hand in inspiring such a change.
p.s. - I've recently decided to head in a completely different direction with my build, involving some minor frame mods. I'm hoping one of these days I can head up to Moody and have a building sesh in the ole Kanticoy garage. I'll send you a pm with what I had in mind; let me know if we can work something out!
Re: Project Gretta....something's in the water....
speaking of awesome leather, I wanted to share artist Kara Ginther's work with you guys. I'm not that huge into bicycles but I am very much into amazing craftsmanship. Check it out, its something different:
Re: Project Gretta....something's in the water....
I've been a fan of this bike for a long time now. And it keeps getting better. I've even posted it on a couple other forums. Just wanted to tell you that. I love it.
Re: Project Gretta....something's in the water....
Hahaha! You buys are awesome.
Gretta is in the process of becoming more reliable. All of you that were at Troy's place know how much I love points. About as much ask love eating dirt and having a stomach virus. So im eliminating them. No cdi available for a 360 so I'm building one. I got the hall effect sensors mounted up last night onto a points plate and built a reluctor and added it to a mechanical advance. No breakable parts, only friction is the advance. Next up is wiring in the ignition module. I'll post up details when I get it up and running. Here are some teaser shots.
