New gauge mount snugs things up nicely Justin.

Your linkage is packaged up and I'll get it to the post this week. I ended up turning a nice aluminum piece for you. The swivel end had a thumb nut to lock it to length and the clevis has a set screw that buts against the end of the threaded portion to lock it. Obviously the setscrew is a set and forget thing, but the other end will allow you to tweek it a bit. In the event that you need it shorter still, the set clevis end of the aluminum shaft can be cut back, maybe 3/8" or so. That will allow a huge swing at the lever end but I think you'll be able to adjust with what's there now.

So, this thread should probably be moved...

This winter, Darlin will become a totally different bike. And this is where it begins...

Ya know, I've talked to you and Mike countless times about that frame + front end but havent actually seen it til now. Shame on me.

Know what would make that rusty frame totally bad-ass? A 68 cl175 tank! :D

As most of you know, the frame/springer is now in my shed. It is a beautiful site.

The $29 Elsinore tank I ordered just arrived, so I snapped a couple of photos with it perched atop the frame. Enjoy!

This is all that remains of My Dearest Darlin...

That's a nice tank! I've been playing with small tanks for my SR project - still sorting something out. Maybe a 68 CL175 tank would be the right fit..... hmmmm.... where would I find something like that?

Ha, hit up Big Rich, I know he has one laying around. But something tells me you already knew that.
