That is brilliant, love it. Might steal that idea for the CB250 build!

thanks mate, yeah its easy to fit as well, just two holes with the drill for the bolt and wires and a rubber spacer because of the curve of the tail unit.

I also stuck a spray mask over the front of the round light and sprayed the edge of the light black

Heaps easier then trying to drill a huge hole in the seat for a lucas style unit etc.

Seems an odd place to put the key? I've put mine away from sight, under the seat. Keeps the lines nice and clean.

the fairing came with the key hole in it already from new, so it seemed like the place to put it. something diffrent :)

Installed a sound level app on my phone ( i know its not accurate) but from one meter away it idles around 95dB and low revs peaks around 100 dB.
which is why i stick to daylight hours to ride
:p

cheers ACEitup

took the ace on this years toy run in bairnsdale and one of the guys doing photos managed to catch a glimpse of the ace as it raced past. must have had a fast shutter speed ;)
had a blast screaming along with the big bikes. had a heaps of comments and praise for the little bike, one of women who helps organize the event remembered me from last year and that my little bike flew along.
couple of guys tried her on for size and a pair of young guys on their 600 rockets were like , hey man thats a wicked bike!
so all in all the ace out performs expectations :D
one of the top five bikes ive ever owned for sure.
