using some really basic fluid simulator software to look at the airbox design and what i can do to get more power.

Instead of trying to get paint to stick to the stock chrome shocks, i got some black vinyl and wrapped the shrouds instead.

fitted a downward facing LED tail/brake light above the rear tyre to light up the ground around the bike and create an effect of led strip lights mounted to the shock springs. its all just reflections you can see to the sides of the wheel.
makes the bike heaps easier to see from the back and sides.

LOL, yeah living in a little side side town i have to keep my nose clean as im the only one on an ace for miles around.
 
With your air box flow experements. I am playing with making a ram tube from pvc pipe on the battery side of box. Have made a wooden blank for this and am trying to heat form Pipe to shape. Should give positive air pressure in air box . Might not get done before trip to the lake.

replaced the fuse holder on the bike with a waterproof blade fuse holder. also found that the stock fuse holder has a spare fuse in the lid side as well

switched out the 60psi oil gauge as it wasnt really showing much once the oil got hot, now running a 15psi dry gauge which should read better then the wet one.
