The CB400T basement find

I think I had a drink one time called a Mango Tango. I don't remember much else after that...

Ended up cutting out the raised section of my tail section and making it flat. The plan now is to build up that ridge after so I can get it straight.

just putting more mud on the 400 seat.

Got a hot tip from the shed farmer yesterday that a local discount store had helmets for 15 to 50 bucks so I went and got a couple. On my way out I noticed a book about Van Halen, a band I love, so I grabbed it, stepped back and on the next shelf below it was a book on fiber glassing for 2 bucks! As Charlie Sheen would say, WINNING!

Marden's fo rthe win! what brand helmets were they? My wife saw them when she was over in Houlton but doesn;t know anything about helmets so i couldn't tell her to get one or 2. I will have to come by and say hello next time I ride through ont he Route 2.

Cheers,

Bike its looking good so far.

They are made by Fuel and are really nice. JC Witneys sells them for 50 to 90 bucks. I'll post some pics. Stop in any time!

I will next time I am down in your neck of the woods for sure. You guys are the closest members to me except for like 2 other maritimer's and they are hardly on here at all.

Not much going on with this build right now.Focus is on the CB360 right now and that should be done soon. I guess when it's your first time building a bike you should stick to one build at a time, but I have A.D.D., oh look a chicken, so two builds at one makes perfect sense!

So today my wife's 9 year old says " since you got the white bike, you don't pay any attention to the blue one." He was right, and today we had putty sanding class at the shop. He was diggin it.

Got the seat just about finished. Didn't like the big ol' gap in the front so I have finished that with more glass to follow the tank contour. I think it's gonna be alright!

So i blew the dust off the computer and remembered my password! The South Chisholm Scuderia is closed for the winter. It gets friggin cold up here in the north and the shop has no heat. I did manage to get all my body work done and all primed and sealed. So to remedy this issue the wife and I are packin up and headin south to Tennessee in April. Probably cheaper to put heat in the shop, but down there I can ride year round!

Hey jayfromjay,
I like the creativity going into this with the side saddles to make the seat. Did you just buy new jets for the carbs or did you have a rebuild kit? im trying to find something to use on my cb400t :D
