Smithwicks in Illinois ? Thats going on my places to visit list now haha

West-Southwest Chicago suburbs, at least. CHicago has its eccentricities, but it really is a cool place.

Great Lakes Commodore Perry IPA with a few nips of rye mixed in.

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk, bitches.

I was going to drink, but then I got distracted.

I'm scheduling a doctor's appointment tomorrow to figure out what's wrong.

A couple days late, but gone all the same. Time to start saving...

yuuuuup.

you smoke cigars? try a CAO LX2 with a glass of Glenrothes (preferably 1991). I find it difficult to drink anything else. Dalmore Grand reserve 12 yr (i think thats the one that replaced their cigar malt) is also great with a nice maduro or habano.

I used to smoke cigars, yeah. Gave up on tobacco a few years ago though.

I don't know how available this is outside of Wisconsin, but it sure is good when you like REAL beer,
but don't want anything too overpowering. Its light bodied and citrusy, but you can still have your hop fix.

DP9, another one I highly recommend is the Ghurka Nautilus. VERY flavorful, but a light enough body that you can be an infrequent smoker and still enjoy the hell out of it. My favorite cigar shop in Daytona Beach had those babies on at a special rate, belicosos for $4-something. Usually a $7-8 cigar.

hmm... i normally see the assassins and evils up here in jersey. havent even heard of the nautilus. now i gatta go find it ;D . thanks for the tip.

a nice full(er) flavored yet approachable smoke is the perdomo lot23. very good in a torpedo or similar size (stay away from the large ring size as the flavor profile doesnt lend itself to such a large volume of smoke).
