WV DTT Gathering July 21-25 @ Troybilts Who's Going?

Well...it appears that I've been shanghaied! Last night My girl Miss Kitty stashed a United Itinerary under my pillow.
She teamed up with our girl Go and others apparently in a deep and frightening conspiracy to have me removed from NW Oregon. I haven't a clue where I'll sleep or get around but it appears I'll be deposited at an airport somewhere near the shindig.

To all involved...again, thank you so much. I feel a little odd being taken care of like this but I am sorely humbled and deeply thankful for the opportunity to get a break but most importantly to meet all in attendance. I hope you're not too badly disappointed by my ordinariness.

I'm very glad to hear that Swagger. Really makes me wish I could afford to go now. Take lots of pics for me!

Hahaha, this is so flippin awesome man. What a gal you have. I know those tickets weren't cheap. Kiley and I were talking and if one of the Pittsburgh guys can't pick you up we can slide up there. No big deal at all. What Day/time do you arrive in Pittsburgh?

What day/time are you flying in? I can swoop down and grab ya if need be..Have you ever been to this area?
 
Right on, Swagger coming too. I shoul dnot have a problem now. I found throttle cables in stock at Z1 and they shipped them Friday. Should be here tomorrow or Wed. Thank god, not a single store here could get me a set before August 16.... that would have totally sucked. I also ordered a clutch cable to throw on the bike incase it decides to let go. Small insurance. Getting closer, Can't wait.

That kicks ass Swagger. Now I have no excuse not to make. It's only 4 hours away from Cleveland. Gonna be a short stay for me though. Looks like I'll be heading out Saturday morning. I should be there early that afternoon. I'll head back when the gig wraps up on Sunday. Hopefully I'll be on the bike or at least have it in the van.
 
I don't have the itinerary in front of me at he moment....I know my flight leaves here at 6am on Thrusday and I fly thru the Bermuda triangle by way of Tibet with a layover at LAX and probably Zimbabwe before finally touching down something out in Troy's general vicinity. I wanna say something like 7:45 in the evening but I messaged Miss Kitty to see if she could send me a link......
 
Ok, just got the link and it's not quite as circuitous as I'd originally thought....
I arrive in Pittsburgh at 7pm Thursday evening on United flight 0111.
I may be wearing a kilt.....

Should I bring mine? Wouldn't want you to be the only guy in proper men's attire! Only I don't know if I will have the room in the bags and they are bloody expensive to replace should it get soiled on the way there.
 
Well, not going to be able to make it this year. On the upside, I'm taking a weeks vacation then to get my second xs11 assembled. It's going to be a b-day gift for my brother-in-law. So that's cool. The fact that I get a riding buddy out of the deal ain't bad either. ;)

Have fun guys! If you don't break Troybilts stuff maybe he'll let us come back, and I'll go then.

im actually trying to convince beatnic to lemme borrow one of his kilts and wear it riding into troys with him..

So, in short..YES bring that fucker. hell, stop 15 miles from troys and put it on to ride in lolol

I may be late to knowing this, but is it just me, or are we all fucking nuts?

Well it's dress kilt and if I wrecked it my wife would kill me, but I will think about it. Heck maybe I will try to find a used one that if I wreck, no one will care. And yes as I think Swagger said "...your bugshit nuts just like the rest of us"

Riding in a kilt can cause all kinds of issues.
 
yea, and since I wear it the authentic way, a crash could cause all kinds of hurt in ways I don't want to think about. My wife was just on the phone and said no way to wearing it, she bought it and so I will agree, but I will go see what I can turn up in the used store ;D, I just won't be riding in it. I like my wedding tackle to be fully operational and road rash hurts.

Just have to find a tartan that is at least close to one of my decendants,
