Oh wow those are cool. I didn't see those before. Sweet find!

I think those use actual bulbs rather than LED?
It would be easy enough to convert them though, just get a bag of 3~5mm LED's and resistors to match

You are correct. Those in the link above are bulbs. These are the ones that I bought. http://www.radioshack.com/green-led-with-holder/2760271.html#.VOJF7y7kcWM

Now that I have my hoop welded on I'm deciding on a seat design. A few pages back i sketched up a prelim but now that I have the hoop on my actual bike I can get a better idea.
I think I'm happy with the look pictured below. But I'm sure it will be tweaked once I've cut, shaved and sanded some foam. Feedback appreciated :D

I managed to do a little work today. Signals mounted and considering options for the battery location. I plan on 1 inch longer shocks than stock so clearance shouldn't be an issue.

I'm going to go with this Antigravity Small Case 4-Cell 120CA Lithium Ion Battery. I was told back in October at the Vintage Festival that it would do just fine.
I really like its small size and adhesive foamed back.

looksa sweet man !!!!!!! ;D
but get the shocks you will be using and check the clearance before you go further lotsa fellers wish they had :-[ :-\ ;D

^^^ I agree 100%^^^
A lot of people are so eager to make "sweet mods" that they neglect to address more important things, like suspension design/ geometry/ clearances. Don't make that mistake.

That said... Looks awesome. Keep it up

I was leaning towards the 13" black ones that Brenden sells over at Common Motor. 3/8" longer would just give me more clearance. Do you have a pic of said shocks?

this is how i got them, great condition with rusty springs
i have lighter springs which you would need anyway...300 shipped with fresh oil and new shaft seals if needed
they have 4 poisition damping adjuster ...if you really want an improvement ....100 doller fitzall shocks are a joke

I'll think about it. It's tax season and the government wants more than they've already taken which has put a ridiculous dent in funding for my project. I'm almost out of parts though :(

How much of a job would it be for me to clean those up and have them powder coated? Would this be possible with those?

Have springs sand blasted and powder coated, shine up the bodies.
I've got a pair of Koni's like that but springs ain't rusty, I've refused to sell them despite several pretty decent offers, eventually they will end up on one of my 360's 8)

you mean the bodies ? powder coat the nice alloy bodies ?
Well I'm going for a matte black and red look with as little shiny as possible. But I do like PJ's quote below.

I like this plan. From what I've seen searching images this is pretty sharp 8)
