Thanx....it's suede, what was left over from William F1 race team, they used it then changed to Alcantera because it's lighter, yes really. The seat pad will continue the block pattern too.Wow that looks lovely what is it suede or alcantara

I'm actually thinking I'd like alcantera or suede as my seat too. I got biltwell thruster grips in chocolate and I think a brown seat to match would look great.
Everything around here is so damn expensive so I still have to work out my budget and see.
I bought a shit load of under carpet rebond foam from Home Hardware for $30 CAD. Which I ended up getting for free because of some almighty fuck up on their side which left me waiting like an idiot at the checkout for 45 mins. Still, free's free.
Plan is to layer it up (it's 1/2" thick) and have at it with an electric carving knife. I'll take Maritime's advice and add a top layer of neoprene/kneel mat foam for added support and comfort.
