Re: '71 cb175 take 2!
I guess that would be true if you extend the swing arm anywhere in between the pivot and lower shock mount. Of you add from the shock mount to the axle it would raise. All the sport bike ones I have installed it raises because they add material to the sliders ;)
Re: '75 cb550 and '71 cb175 double build!
I'm running joker machine clip ons. I didn't have to shorten cables one bit. Just routed them like this. I at about 23" wide . Only cables I have are brake and throttle and clutch
Re: The Count Mount Zeke's El Montadero 360
I use these 3m bristle 2" rolock ones. They fan out with more rpms. Great for blending and surface prep before welding.
And this mini d/a works great for polishing, hook and loop paper
Re: '75 cb550 and '71 cb175 double build!
Cool bike. It's like a cafe-tracker-bobber all in one. Noce to see a fellow Long Islander building theses bikes also.
I have a 74 cb200

Really want to make it a competition? Build some side cars so the family can play soccer. I saw this in spain.
It says the dyno is water cooled. So does that mean you should always get the fluid up to a consistent temp on the fluid side before base lining figures start. And to think they did not have the high temp fluids we have now, just a seed for thought
I have followed this father and son team for quite some time now. During this snow day I have had a chance to reflect on whole threads. It's an amazing journey. We started with a seized motor and a quest for answers. I have learned so much from all those that replied. I'm amazed even till this...
That sucks. I once pulled mine out sneezing. On the video ZEKE should mention bike should be warm and choke off full throttle.
Hope you heal fast..... To be continued......
