Well it only took 4 years to post up a pic or two of the finished bike! Stumbled on these two pics today. The first day of running the bike in, nursing it around the track in group D.
Unfortunately I had to sell the bike a year ago.
I just dug this up. Remembered it last night. Saw this at a show some years back.
I stand corrected, but I think this is a 700cc motorcycle boxer engine powered BMW.
Wish I had a better shot of the engine. A little gem.
Dug up the thread. Posted it back in March 2011. :-) Some cool info there. Yeah, according to "Joksa" its a formula tecno K, with upgraded twin engine.
A few years ago, this was sitting on my friend Miles driveway. He's a Ducati racebike technician, and a customer had brought it in for him to service.
1963 Technocart formula 4 car with a Ducati 250 engine.
"A" wasn't crazy about the ATV key.
"Its kinda lame, dad."
I had to agree with her. :-)
She designed a new one.
I modeled it.
We printed it.
She painted it.
... And now its cooler. :-D
(The drawing on her key design is her logo - its a storm cloud with a lighting bolt...
Had a serous pow-wow last night.
"A" and I discussed various issues around, design, functionality, style, cool factor and objectives.
A critical issue was brought up, and that was where the picnic basket was going to go.
I was reminded that this was part of the original design :-P
