I used plastic, (puck board) for support under the seat, I was able to use the factory hinges and brackets for the seat.

Yes the rims are alloy. I was reading last night about the double disc, they came as a single and you could buy the other side as an option. My plan is to do a mild cafe conversion and not hack it up to much. I didn't like that bike that much when I first saw it, and the more I looked at it...

I just picked up another project bike this evening, it seems to be in pretty good shape except for the hug handle bars and aftermarket megaphone exhaust system.

I was going to add this to my original thread but I can't find it! lol I seen to have some wiring issues I'll have to sort out, there seems to by some cut and spliced wires in the harness. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a C1?
