I have taken almost every key required function off of my bike, including the ignition. Having to carry around a key everywhere to fuel the bike was getting annoying. It looks good, but why do you need a clock on a bike? The last thing I want to know while I'm riding is the time. I can tell when it's time to stop when the bike hits reserve.

You'll hate those EMGO pods. The lip inside on the rubber flange blocks some of the holes on the carbs. I trimmed mine out, but still didn't like them. Found some pods simliar to the MIKESXS pods, but a lot cheaper. Fit right on. I'll see if I can find the website again, but you need 52mm pods...

Another thing to look at is your throttle cable. make sure that it is not catching on something. It may be just as simple as that. I am having XS750 carb issues also, but mostly due to switching to pods instead of the stock airbox, and trying to dial in the jets/needle setting. I also took an...

Bought this bike last November, not running. Removed tach, turn signals, rear fender. Installed clubman bars. Turned 2 man seat into a gas tank/solo seat. Replaced fuse box, rebuilt forks, chopped and lowered front fender. Too many other things to name.

Thinking, something like this.
