Well...went the typical route of try it myself til I F'it up. Was successfully getting through a broken off exhaust stud when I hit oil. Second bit in my progression went too far in. Am I screwed or can this be fixed without removing the head ?
HELP !

Re: GOT a Zookie!
The Rustoleum version is actually the best I've used so far. More of a sand texture than a lumpy texture and holds up very well if allowed to cure/harden for several days.
Re: GOT a Zookie!
I see this all the time about people using appliance epoxy for fork legs. I am a paint guy working for a major paint OEM for 23 yrs. Epoxies chalk out by nature when exposed to UV light. You are much better off long term using a 2 component polyurethane for this type...
Don't need any vinyls...got them covered. I am pretty much covered on this bike except for a taillight/license plate combo to be used on a dunstall rear. What ya got for shirts ?

The headlight is in my shop and I am traveling today. If you google speedmoto co and look at the headlight section, it is the black shell with chrome ring and headlamp. I think it sold for around 70.00 if I remember right. It is the 7" headlamp. If you can't find it, I can post a pic this...
Sorry man....just ran out and looked and I made a mistake. Bought it from Speedmoto Co. Its the 7" black shell with chrome ring. I will change in my original post.

Ordered the black shell/chrome rim headlight/lamp from Speedmoto Co (7"). Ended up using the stock headlight on my GS. Anyone interested ? It is new in the box, never used. Make me an offer.

I am heavily into a GS850 shaftie at the moment. Waiting on my tail section from Roc City and other parts but in my opinion it makes a fine looking Cafe......ride what ya like, not what others say shouldn't be done is my opinion !
Wanted to say hello from SC. Picking up my "new" old GS850 this weekend. Bike has just over 10k original miles and looks really good. Excited to embark on the journey to one bad ass cafe. Feels good to be back !
