After crimping on a new lead on my battery cable, because the previous one wasn't crimped on properly, my starter doesn't work anymore. I can bump-start it just fine and the battery has 13 volt according to my multi-meter, but when I press the starter button I only hear a click from the...
I want to replace my stock gauges with smaller gauges and most of the eBay tachos don't have the mechanical line the speedo has but come with these wires:
How does this work? What are the line lock wires for? And the signal cable can just be spliced into my coil ground?
I've been looking for a nice, understated and cheap watch for some time and came across this on Silodrome:

Did some digging and found out it's a standard military issue watch with an "artisan" strap quintupling its...
I can get a set of Hagons in the correct lenght for 30 bucks, problems is I don't know what bike it was used on and I'm 99% sure both me (130ish lbs) and my bike (220ish) lbs will be quite a bit lighter than it was dialed in for. Can I adjust them for this difference or are they sealed units...
Since I have a running bike again as soon as my battery is charged I'm looking into the three things I want to fabricate for my project.
A new dashboard.
Housing for the switches on my handlebar(s).
A battery box.
I already drew up some plans for the dashboard and...
I'm looking for a different speedo for my GN125 and was wondering where I could find the gearing or ratio of my current speedo. If I could ballpark it that would be close enough, I could calibrate it with my GPS and draw up a new face.
This dude used conductive paint pinstriping instead of wiring for the Di2 group on his bicycle, looks rad as fuck. Check it out:

Wouldn't be very practical on a motorcycle, but a cool idea for sure.
I dropped the flasher relay that came with my led lights and broke into a thousand pieces, a new one is on the way but I hope I can make do with the flasher relay that was already on the bike. It works great with one of the old lights wired to it, and gives a constant current with the LEDs...
Hiya guys,
Looking for a way to get the most out of the 125cc I'll be driving for the coming two years I ran into this site. I'm planning on doing a cafe conversion of my Suzuki GN125. I never worked with or on things that go boom, as I always got around my bikes with pedals, but I'm eager to...
New legislation forces new riders to ride a 125cc for the first two years, this legislation just had its first anniversary so up until recently nobody in their right mind bought a 125cc bike. That is why cheap(-ish) 125cc's are few and far between, 20-year-old Honda CB125's usually go for €1500...
So I'm about to have my license and I'm looking into spicing up my Suzuki GN125, because that's all I'm allowed to drive for the coming two years. I've been riding bikes since I was 2, but up untill now they always had pedals and I had to propel them myself, so my mechanical skills are limited...
