I am hoping to fins some intake boots for my 1984 Yamaha fj600. It is the rubber part that bolts to the engine than clamps onto the carbs. I think that the intake boots form the following bikes would be compatible also:

yx600
I am not sure but I think the carb boots...
I have fond and also painful memories of learning to ride from my dad as a 13 year old kid. Here is a pic of the bike he taught me on. This is not the actual bike but it is darn close to what I rode.
This bike taught me to keep my butt off the seat when riding and use my legs. The seam...
I am shopping for tires for my '84 Yamaha fj600. It has 18 inch wheels front and back which I am finding are a pain to shop for. So far it seems the best value has been the Shinko 230 Tour Master. It gets great reviews online from what I have seen. Can anyone speak to these tires and their own...
Hey guys. I got this tank from a local guy here in southern california. It doesnt fit my frame and it is in way too nice shape to cut up or modify to fit. No dents one small ding and a coupl eof light scratches. minimal rust inside a light acid wash will clean it up just fine. I paid $100 bucks...
My service manual lists the primary resistance for my ignition coils as 2.7 Ohms I am looking to replace them as the plug wires have been completely ripped out and I don't see a way to repair them. From my understanding I need a coil that either matches or exceeds the Ohms. So for my application...

It is for 1984-85 Yamaha FJ600 and I need to purchase a universal Rectifier/Regulator. I am planning on using a Ballistic 8 cell evo 2...

Greetings,
I am starting in on my bike project. I need a simple wiring diagram to just make the engine run. I need to get some parts sourced and ordered as well. I am missing the CDI and Rectifier/Regulator. Anyone have a good source for these parts and perhaps even just a conceptual diagram...
Hey guys,
I am looking for a simplified wiring diagram for the '84 Yamaha XJ600. I have a low-res copy of the complete wiring diagram but it is hard to read some and impossible to read the small print. If any one has a link to a hi-res copy of the diagram that would be awesome!
I plan to...
Greetings all!
I just picked up a 1984 Yamaha FJ600 and will be rebuilding it from the frame up. I got a killer deal on the bike and will be working on a limited budget. The engine will need to be completely gone through as it was sitting in an open garage with no carbs on or any exhaust on...
