Got tired of calling around and companies wanting $150+ to re sew the leather and brace it down after I shortened the base on the seat. So I just did it myself.

I re fabbed a bracket for the headlight as the old one didn't flow with the bike. At first I tried riveting the bracket onto the lower gsxr triple but after tugging on it a little it was becoming loose so I scratched that Idea. I ended up tapping the holes to accommodate threaded bolts and it is now solid. Next updates will only be in two weeks as I am going on vacation.

Got the wheels in today from Buchanan's. Tubes should be in on Friday so I can mount and balance the tires.

Thanks gents! Got my eBay special $15 LED taillight in. I notched the metal under the seat so it is flush. Electrical is done. Only thing I am waiting on is the OEM braring sleeve for the rear hub that I lost somehow. Registration is all done too so it should be on the streets early next week.

A hugger would look great on that rear and would help keep mess out of those stacks. Sweet bike.

Test around the block was flawless. A couple more little things and she is done. I will take some nice pics when she is 100%

Do pantyhose hold up well to fuel? I'd be concerned about those breaking apart and finding their way into your carbs and motor....

Nice looking bike, great job, I like to jump around too, that way you don't get bored and more back brain thinking about the approach, or re-thinking mostly.

Holds up fine. If for some reason a piece ever broke off and got sucked in, I wouldn't really worry about it other than getting stuck in the carbs. It would disintegrate once it hits heat.
