1974 Honda 550~Four – WWII Themed (now a Roller!) Yes..

Man, this build help kick me on the butt a little to stay on mine! I love the progress.

By the way, check out www.snipersparadise.com/sniperchat
Its run by a buddy of mine, a former Marine Scout Sniper and SWAT precision marksman. A bunch of good folks on the low-key side that talk about long guns and all of the other good stuff.

Funny you should mention that 03. The guys I know that are into longer distance/precision shooting don't talk about it to people that don't need to know. They are a very quiet thoughtful bunch of individuals. I don't think that any of them would have nose art on their expensive precision tools of the trade.

Hey guys I’m making some progress and I was just wondering what your thoughts are on a few things.. I’ve shown them to some buddies and neighbors and they all think its pretty cool.. so we’ll see what you guys think.. lol..

I figured out how I’m going to mount my star in the center, how I’m going to paint the other side.. I’m also kind of liking is this look for the front fender, at least for now. I think once I get my tank and seat, its going to pull it all together.

I was just going to drill out the center of the bullet holes instead just drilling holes, so what you think? I was going to pretty much riddle the bike with bullet and flack holes.. I’m really going for that worn battle look, well at least that’s part of it.. ;) and since I'm replacing the tires anyway.. I'm just having some fun with them, that all.

Anyway.. thanks for your team and sorry for the bug

I was just going to go into what's planned for my 550, but it seems I'd be copying yours. In the past month, I've been doing some family research on my uncle who was a navigator on a B17, ans was lost over the Netherlands. The research opened a HUGE amount of documentation, and it tipped me off to how I want my project to go. Olive green will cover up a lot of the ugliness of my parts, so I'll lean towards a B17 themed cafe, complete with my uncle's plane numbers (there were two) and name on the tank.
