Will do and thanks for the advice. I had a heck of a time getting the old assembly out of there and the new ones went in relatively easy but I guess they also backed out just as easy too. Gonna go look for a moto lift/jack today I guess.

I did the all-balls bearings in my 360 too.... It took a bit of effort to completely seat the bearing race on the top...but the spanner nut / dust cover covers it completely once assembled.

I got the $99 Craftsman Motorcycle jack from sears... Been working great. It'll lift my 850 pound Harley with no worries. Can't really move the Harley around on it like I can the Honda. The Honda I can move all around the garage on the jack with ease. People complain about the bottle jack... just don't store it with pressure on it and it should last for years.

I did have it completely flush when it was first installed. Everything seated proper and it looked good....or so I thought. I'm def gonna pick up a jack and see if I can get this sorted out. Thanks dude!

Remove top triple clamp
Tighten top ring nut with C spanner until the bearings have the correct pre-load and free play
Replace top triple clamp and tighten center nut first, followed by fork clamps
Ride

Repeat as required as the new races settle down into place.

Yep, obviously didn't fully seat lower bearing in frame
Even if you do seat it all the way in they almost always need adjusting after a few hundred miles.
Looks like you fitted bearings with only the packing oil on them?
Really should take front end apart and pack properly with grease
If you have the correct peg spanner, Honda say to torque to 35 ft/lbs to seat TAPER bearings then back off and adjust by hand.
You may be able to find a spec to use a fish scale at end of bars (probably something like Suzuki or Kawasaki 250?)

Yeah it was just the packing grease, good eye. I'll take that front end apart and do it up proper this time. Thanks PJ.
