Yep, I'm only going to go so far on this then paint and look at it. I'll buy the re-pops out of Thailand then paint those to match.

Definitely coming together. What's the shipping time like on stuff from Thailand? Painful like everywhere else? Speaking of which, damn man I gotta get you that fender shipped...

All over the map. Shipping seems to be a bit of a crapshoot these days. Mate I know I'm useless as a chocolate fireman but I'm going to get that fender on its way to you asap

Did you ride yet? Just need the ice sheet to melt outside my garage and then I reckon I could be riding by next week. 14C forecast for next Monday...

No, still too much crap on roads here, need more snow melt and a good rain for salt to go. but we are scheduled for the same mid teens C next week so I need to get my ass in gear for putting the coil pack back on and changing the oil to be ready.

Ok, so I think side covers are being ordered.

Yeah, I think having a color-matching side cover on there really helps give it a finished look.

Looks good with the side cover. I'd definitely go for that.

As was mentioned international shipping seems to be really messed up now. I'm in Europe, and recently had parts come from Thailand in 4 days and then on the other hand I am now waiting 2 months for a camshaft from the US. It's a complete dice roll.

I agree it looks good with a matching color side-cover. Could you use mircrosoft paint or something to see what the overall look would be if you took the bottom third off of the side-cover? I've seen some side covers that have that look on smaller displacement bikes and they look pretty neat, just a random thought haha
