The Engine came out nice

Don't scratch the frame putting the engine in.

Finally done for now. Well its rideable but I've spent to much on this bike. Later will come the rear sets and oil cooler, clip on's etc. The fricken engine build drained the ole wallet. Well that and the stupid amount of chrome

I typically want to get rid of all the chrome on the old bikes but that looks awsome. You chromed all the right parts to make it look great with the low gloss black onthe tank and cowl and fender. Really pops.

Sucks it cost so much but it looks like they did a good job and it won;t be flaking off any time soon.

Cheers.

Thanks I agree. The Flat black mellows the bling and it somehow works. I can't really take the credit. sole the idea from every old hot rod car that has done it before me. I just never seen anyone do it on a bike to this extent. Here is my anti chrome bike. Called the low Doh, Made it for $2300 bucks

On the First bike can I ask where you got those bar end turn signals?

Both bikes are beautiful and I love the paint work.

Totally agree, both rides are gorgeous. Mind if I ask where you got the seat. Looking for something like that for my project.

Very very well done...
I've never been a fan of the stock cb750f rear cowl.. but this looks great!

the turn signals were a ebay part, they were on old BMW bikes but they are being re-made in China now I'm sure.

I made the seat myself from the old 750F rear cowl. Lots of metal pounding to make a custom pan and then a lot of magic to get it mounted to the plastic cowl without drilling into the cowl. I used brakets and fiberglass.

whats up guys.
these bikes are awesome, i would very much perfer to pay 3000 to 4000 for one of these than pay the same or more
for a newer bike. they look like show bikes, well done. i to love the pin stripes, think they flow really well.
great work.
later.

Thanks, I would have loved to pay 3k or 4K too.....got $7500 into mine as it sits is just parts and paint. Did all the labor myself. If I had to pay for the labor......Oh man I don't want to know. I'll sell you the bike for $4000 minus the motor. LOL really though I'm open to offers cuz I need to start on my next bike and will need funds.

wow!!!!!!!
thats crazy, but believeable. i my self am a mechanic and know all to well how much it would cost.
i have about 2000 in my bike maybe alittle more, and its just a 175. i know that these projects can add up pretty fast.
that bike for 4000k would be a steal, a major steal. you have done an wicked job and would love to take it off your hands
but the boss says no more toys for now.
any way, keep up the good work, and hope it goes to some one who will appreciate it like you do..
later.

I like bike #2. I can't see how you spent $7500 on a bike if you did all the labor yourself.
I couldn't believe it either but I have all the receipts to prove it. Ever done a Big bore on a bike? a lot of engine work adds up fast. PLUS I have a SHIT LOAD of chrome. at least 3K

You did a great job on that bike . Regardless what you paid .

They both look fantastic and have a very unique look/personality of their own. I do really like the seat cowling on the 2nd bike. Very nice job on that piece. That's something I would definitely buy if it were in production. Great job.

What finish was used on the engine aluminum on both bikes? Aluminum colored powder coat? Or bead blast and clear coat? I'm debating on what to do with my engine and those engines look sweet.
