Hey guys, As you may have guessed I'm a new member even though I've been on this site consistently for a few months now. I've always been a fan of motorcycles and now I finally have one to call my own. A 1981 Honda CB750k, In decent shape. I've become a member so that I can document my progress for those interested in projects, Help out those who are just starting out themselves as well as get some advice and direction.
I've already done some minor work to the bike,
-Cleaned the Carbs
-New battery
-Valve Adjustment
Nothing too serious but now I'm getting into the heavier stuff. Next up I plan on making a custom seat out of fibreglass (I'll add pictures and give a detail of the planned method tomorrow). So now I have a couple of questions to get me started.
First, What should I plan on doing in the near future
Second, I'm aware that the 81' model is not a typical cafe(I might not have mentioned that I want to cafe it yet) due to the fact it has a kick-start and from what i can tell a better suited frame. Do you guys know of any others who have cafe'd a similar model to my own? If so, a link would be greatly appreciated.
Anyway, That's all for now. Thank you for taking the time to read through all this and I hope to get to know you guys a little better. I'll take as many suggestions as I can get on what to do next etc. so this will be a little more interactive for any of you who wish to follow along.
Thanks,
Etchasketch.
