The bike is running! Just a bit more work to get it road worthy...then some other non-mechanical stuff. BUT she'll be good to go for Thursday.

so last thurs saucer and i were the only ones on our bikes!!

okok, well there were scooters (mondo and friend with a beautiful vintage lambretta) and lil beast and druro couldn't make it for very valid reasons... but you guys in cars (glare at dr j and eric ling) and those who didn't come out (the rest of y'all) shame on you!

DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN.

heh.. i think it'll be nice this thurs.. can't wait to see everyone's bikes.. i hear noel might even come out.

my bike is scolding me with a plethora of problems for shaming all the non-riders earlier and now i won't even have anything to ride! (rented my scooter to friend) so i'll have to meet you all on pedal bike

ahhah double ridden on noel's big powerful monster!!!! what?!!!!

yeah i should really just get the triumph going... still waiting on papers though.........

things that went wrong in the past week:
-rocker arm spindle came out
-gas leak from newly treated tank
-oil leak from behind points.
-oil leak from behind points again after replacing seal
-dirtied carbs from dirty tank. (although i think it may not be the tank... )

valves were adjusted, timing, air/fuel.. and now it is getting the carbs cleaned...tank flushed and welded..

at least what i've learned is how to put the frustrating airboxes back in... really considering pods at this point...

i'm also considering helping old ladies cross the street all day tomorrow to increase my karma a little. :$
