Got the bottom end all buttoned up and flipped the motor over for the top. Got the top peeled back and everything looked good until I flipped the head cover over. One of the journals looks like an angry girlfriend has been in there gouging it with a screw driver. The other 3 look acceptable and the cam shaft seems to be fine? I went ahead and tore the top end down on the 3rd motor I just recently acquired and sure enough, same damn thing on a different journal? Is this common?
probably a sticking valve, letting the rocker arm slam down on the cam lobe, good news is they were all the same part, so they're swappable any one of the 4 to any other
Junior over at Retro Moto was absolutely up to no good last night. Check this exhaust out! We talked about this idea for quite a while and it's awesome to see it coming together so well. In the end, the exhaust will port out the left/right sides of the tail section.
