400four, Dueling Banjos

Lost your battery cover, too? BTW, how many exhaust gaskets per cylinder did it have? My latest had 3 each.
I think the cover was gone in the first week...20 years ago. Thats funny about exhaust gaskets. Mine only had 3 outta 4. haha

I've been doing some spring cleaning and have a 466 kit for that motor, a customer years ago commissioned a build, wanted a built motor then decided to leave the motor alone, not sure you're doing any engine work, but the cylinders were already bored and honed for the pistons so it's plug and play.

Thanks for the offer my man, but ill have to pass. Offer it up in "for Sale" thread and Im sure somebody will snatch it right up.

The best thing about vapor honing is that without it... you'd never know just how dirty the rest of your parts actually are.

"Vapor Hone, Vapor Hone, can't get it that clean with acetone
Irk's the chap with the skillz, and the kit to pay the billz
Look out, here comes the Vapor Hone"

Sorry, I have a mild fever. Nothing to see here, keep moving.

Not one, Not two, but Three TURDS polished.

Bravo... I HATE polishing covers. But yeah sanding them through the grits and making sure to get out the previous grit marks.. then working through the compounds with the right buffs is the trick. Nice work.
