'75 cb200t cafe build

I'm no techno boy when it comes to electronics, haha. But this weekend, I'll see if i can figure out my camera to take a video. I am getting some trick linkage for the shifter welded up right now. Need to do some tuning and mount the fairing for the race. I will keep you all in the loop!
Thanks everyone!
Kev

linkage! .... fairing!!!! the radness just keeps coming doesnt it! very cool!
what kind of fairing?

Just an Emgo fairing I had. I color matched it when i painted the tank and tail. Its just for the race so i can get out of the wind and rain. 650 miles of torture coming up June 11th, (in one day).

The bike turned out incredible. June 11th is going to be a great day for you. Good luck on your race.

=200's - up to 200cc, any Cushman style scooter with a stock based motor (no
Cushman hybrids) and vintage bikes up to 225cc.

Do it!

Got I the shift linkage done to my liking finally. Works really well. Hope work on some tuning and get the fairing mounted in the next week or so.

Getting closer to the ride. I built four individual mounting struts for the fairing, two off the top triple clamp and two off the lower with 1/4" rod. Man, that thing is solid. Should hold up to inhumane relentless vibration, hahaha. I'll post some better pics when it's daylight.

The fairing looks HUGE on there.......but I didn't take into consideration the size of the bike!

Love those colors btw.

For a quarter fairing, its looks like a frickin' full size Vetter, Hahahaha. Oh well, it's temporary for a ride, it Will get be taken off when its served its purpose.

Yeah if you are going to ride any distance, you need something to cut the wind. I use a little windscreen that comes off and it takes just enough wind off for any rides over 100 miles or more. The fairing is a little neater looking than my crappy windscreen.

Hey I just bought a 1974 cb200 but the problem is I can't find any parts. Any tips on where to look? Everywhere I have checked they are not in stock or discontinued which I kinda expected but still sucks.

Flows with the bike really well keV! And paint looks great! Well done!!
You will have the coolest bike at the race!

Sweet! Are you getting much mileage in before your race to shake it down and bed it in?
I'm interested to hear how the handling is, and the braking?
I continue to be impressed by my little critter. I had to do a funky line change half way round a bend to avoid some gravel closely followed by a manhole cover and I thought I was going to end up seriously out of shape and on the wrong side of the road. But it sucked it up and exited like a good'un.
