'75 cb200t cafe build

I talked to the upholstery guy, not till this weekend, bummer. Oh well, will give me a chance to tie up all the loose ends. Sunday is supposed to be nice out.

Today I didn't work on it as diligently as I should have. Got the horn hooked up, started on the lights. I broke the tiny little plunger on the Magura front brake light switch, pissed me off. I just put some epoxy on it, if it doesn't hold, I'll get another one. I leaned out the pilot circut a bit, but haven't started it (its late). Talked to the seat guy at coffee this morning, he was asking specific questions on it, leads me to believe he's working on it. I also brought my triumph bobber home from storage, that made me happy. Hopefully bigger update tomorrow.

Sucks about the switch, Kev. It's the little last minute shit that drives a guy up the wall.

Hey, what size rear tire is that? Specifically what profile? Maybe it's just the pics, but it looks like it's got a smallish sidewall...looks good.

Love these bikes, small bore, but goes a decent speed and sounds cool. From the 70s too.

Not much money over here in england, definately my next project when i pass my bike test.

Ringo, the rear tire is a 100/90/18 on a 1.85 rim. I ended up getting a normally closed switch from radio shack today that i adapted into the front brake lever, works perfect. Wiring is done! Just waiting for the seat, and I'm guessing Grady is gonna have for me in the morning!!

I'm going to have trouble sleeping tonight.

Can't get a hold of the seat guy  so a bolted a piece of aluminum on and went for the first ride!! Sweet! The pipe sounds awesome, engine sounds great and a blast to ride! I am having my aluminum guy weld a different bracket on the shift lever on Monday so the linkage has the appropriate angles. YIPPY!

Sweeeeeeeeeeet. The angle on that pipe really makes it.
It's great how so many of the winter builds are now making their fledgeling flights!
I'm still riding around with a ruck suck full of tools and fettling every day.
Amazing how much needs retightening as it beds in.

Gorgeous man, absolutely gorgeous!
just a quick question, are those wheels painted, or is that how you got them? :)

I got a hold of the seat guy and still not done. He said he's been wanting a base for the foam to secure to. I brought the seat pan home and got one made and will bring it to him in the morning. I bolted the seat pan on and took off! I put about 10 miles on it and it is AWESOME fun! Just loving it. Still need to finish the shifter linkage so i straightened out the stock lever and installed it. Man is it flickable. I going to have a hard time giving up the seat so it can be finished. The seat will be silver with a black stripe to match the tank and tail.

I went out and rode 15 miles on it this morning and came home and took the seat back to the upholsterer. Man, was it a Blast!
