Well here we go ladies and gents!
I picked up this old girl about a month ago and I've been scouring the internet looking for ideas/parts for the build and I have a pretty solid picture in my head so the tear down begins!
Didn't get a "in original condition" picture because I was so damn excited to get to work but here she is with only a few parts stripped.
A little rust here and there but all in all she's in great condition and I got her for a steal so I can't complain. Its getting fresh powder coat anyways!
I bought the bike from the original owner who got the bike brand new when he was 13! He had to put lowering links in and shave some foam out of the seat just so he could touch the ground haha. A pretty bad ass 13 year old if you ask me.
gonna need some new rubber
has some OLD pipes on it. Knockin them loose and putting on a fresh set of Carpy's 4-1. gonna sound goooood!
there those lowering links are haha
electrical is in great condition. Its a shame I'm chopping it all up.
got a set of Carpy's rear sets and they are smooth. Bolt right on and come with everything I needed. I wanted to weld on my own clean mounts but these are great and I can always pull the sets of the mounts and make my own so bonus!
So there it is. The beginnings of a beauty. I'm hoping to have it all torn down this week and after I grind off all the unnecessary BS from the frame its going to powder coat along with a bunch of other parts.
I'll keep you guys posted.
Oh and if anyone wants some original parts I am keeping them all just in case so hit me up!
