Sorry for the double videos, I am still new at posting vids.
Here is the shake down run after finishing my spoke conversion, yoshi pipe ect. Not 100% complete but pretty damn close. I am not much for editing but you can get the idea. Hope you like.
Freezing cold today and a bit hung over after bringing in the New Year so I thought I would post up a few photos of the progression of my build. It is killing me not being able to ride and not having anything to wrench on. Still waiting on the fork brace and thinking about upgrading the rear suspension.
Picking the bike up. Bought it on ebay, looked good but was a spray bomb coving up all the hidden issues.
Tear down.
Engine (836 with webcam 41 and rebuilt head)
Body work
Round one.
Round Two (Gl1000 fork and spoke conversion, dyna2000 ignition)
Damn I love this bike!!! You did everything I wish I could have done to my 78 F that I had.
I think this is my all time fav on the site!!
Well done!! And I love the sound of that Yosh pipe!! It just sings around 6-7000 RPM

Man, if you move back this way look me up. I am pretty new to the scene up here but it is all good! I live in Tacoma, just across the bridge from Bremerton and south of Seattle. http://backfiremoto.com/ this is a meet up on Wednesdays except during the winter.

Indeed an incredible build...
I might be moving to Washington in the spring. I use to live in Bremerton and Silverdale for a couple yrs. Loved it.
Again well done, and a well deserved BOTM nomination! Congrats!
I have been wanting to put some led strips in my gauges since I saw a few members on the board do it. Love the ideas that come from the forum.

I know that the red is not for everyone but I dig it.
