Escentially I just went from the stock vertical mounting location on the battery box up to a horizontally position in between the frame rails. If I remember correctly, I didn't have to cut and extend any of the factory wiring besides the battery cables.Ryan66 said:Oh so the stock electrical is long enough to reach back there? Just need longer battery terminals?
The carbs are the stock pd carbs. Everything is stock in the carbs except for 110 main Jets.Ryan66 said:Obne more question what carbs are you running? was gonna ask your jetting specs with the uni's on there
a picture of what mounted? the jet?Ryan66 said:Wouldnt happen to have a pic of it mounted would you? I got 087a's so the jets are different
jrknecht said:Wow Andrew, love the bike. I almost got a '76 CB550 (just about pulled the trigger) just before I found the 450. Amazing work my friend, I nominated your bike this month for BOTM. Someone second it .

haha sorry, musta had a brain fart. at this time i dont have any photos of the wiring. ive had a few people message me asking for the same thing, so next time i have the seat off for whatever reason, ill try and snap a few for you.Ryan66 said:Lol no. Under the seat and battery
The rearsets are fine, but for me having long legs is a tad bit high. Still comfortable enough for long cruises just a tad cramped. If I were to do it again, I would cut the passenger peg mounts off and weld tabs lower on the frame rail to lower them some. The rearsets kris makes are awesome and made very well, much more affordable than a set of raask or tarozzi. I just feel like bikes that are styled after vintage racers or are called "cafe racers" and don't add rearsets just donesnt seem right. Half assed of you will, so rearsets are a must on all the bikes I put togeather.warner6616 said:ok i also really want to see some wiring photos... and what do you think of the rear sets? comfy ride?
