'80 Ironhead

I'm not 100% decided yet on how itll work. its something ill have to play by ear. It will definitely only go 1 of 2 ways though for sure.

My current idea that i want to try is doing a seat similar to how the single seat is on the GB400 (my old one pictured below). Then the cowl will simply wrap and fit snug around the leather. Like about .5" - 1" back to for padding against the back.

The other way is how you described it. A brat seat, with a padded back thats permanently attached to the cowl.

Progress has been slow. Lifes been too busy. But I managed to play with it some more this weekend. Just got the motor out and managed to tinker with a few things. Still kind of planning it as I go along. I'm starting to lean back towards building another monoshock bike. I just prefer the ride and look. I suppose it could almost be my signature in a way.

Ok, so its all disassembled now. I hate myself for not dedicating time to this poor old thing. Been riding the ol' wing around. But I'm diving back in. Working on the wiring harness now, fixing some things that were wrong with it and making a few improvements.

Definitely going to make another monoshock for this bike now. In the planning stages for now, but I'll be starting the fab soon. Almost finished with my 3D model of it.

Yes there is. Its far from done. After the mount is finished and welded on, ill do the ladder support along the swing arm.
